Maidi Lake is another beautiful lake among the 9 lakes of Pokhara. This lake located in Ward No. 28, 30 and 32 of Pokhara Metropolitan City looks very clean and blue compared to other lakes.
Located at a distance of about one and a half kilometers to the north from Shisuwabazar, this lake is a unique example of nature.
Different species of birds come from Cyprus and the Himalayas to spend the winter in this lake.
Listed in the Ramsar list, this lake is getting overshadowed due to lack of publicity, protection and infrastructure.
