pokhara -A week-long anti-drug campaign is being launched in Pokhara to raise awareness against drugs. The program will be organized by the District Police Office, Kaski from June 20 to 26 at the Pokhara Sabhagriha Hall, said Chief of Police Ganesh Thapa at a press conference today.
Popular rapper Ashish Rana 'Lahure' will give a presentation in the program.
Rapper Lahure was released after spending 56 days in prison on drug charges. He said that he managed to quit drugs in a short time due to the positive behavior of Kaski police while he was in prison. He further said, "Positive behavior of people is positive, negative behavior is negative. Kaski police treated me positively, due to which I quickly came back positive." Rapper Rana informed that his audience is participating in the week-long program through this awareness program as he is young and he has just got rid of the habit. He said that he would present his experiences along with his presentation in the program.
