On Thursday, the main tourist area of Pokhara, Lakeside, became colorful with the colors of Holi. Crowds of youngsters from various places in Pokhara, including the neighboring districts of Tanahu and Syangja, had gathered at Lakeside to play Holi. The road from Hallanchowk to Talabarahi Chowk in Pokhara was painted Holi.
Tourists were also present on the streets of Lakeside to celebrate Holi. They celebrated Holi with Nepali and foreign tourists. Tourists were seen embracing the colors worn by Nepalees and exchanging good wishes.
